#Street racing syndicate widescreen fix Patch
and the official config format allows for that and much more, there are a couple of commands dedicated to that + 80 more for other tasksĪs someone said in reddit (i remember the sentence because i agreeded), the potential of this official config files is hugeĪnd btw, imo the easyer way to do all this is with managunz, iirc contains a database of MD5 (or CRC dunno) to verify the integrity of your PS2 ISO (this way you know for sure the configs that does some patching are going to patch the correct position), it allows also to apply that widescreen patches and contains a database with all the widescreen patches and other video modes knowĪnd it can manage config files too.ResX = 0 // Use this option to control the horizontal resolution. all that patches are literally "patching" the ISO at an specific position. this is by now, because im guessing is posible to convert all that pnach patches (and any action max replay or any other loader discs) to the official config format.
#Street racing syndicate widescreen fix Pc

The widescreen patches are in pnach format, there are patches for all the ace combat games (woooho, this motivates me to play them), you can see them here maybe this is why the config for ace combat the unsung war did not work to you So try to search in google for the MD5 of the original dumps of that games, and verify with yours. then the patch is not going to be applyed at the correct position and is not going to work If your ISO has been modifyed for some reason. because what i mentioned before, this configs for ace combat games are applying a patch at a very accurate position of the ISO

There are a lot (not sure if is the whole list of ace combat games published for PS2 though but should be close)Īce Combat - Distant Thunder: SCES_504.10Īce Combat - Squadron Leader: SCES_524.24Ĭlick to expand. Are you sure you are using the correct ones ?, your games was SLUS20851 and SLUS21346Īnd other thing you should check is the MD5 of your ISO. Hehe nice, that configs for ace combat games are specific for each Title ID because are using netemu command 0x0B (this command is used to apply patches over the game iso), so using the config for ace combat 4 in 5 is not going to work There are a lot (the 3 ace combats published for PS2 * several regions and releases)Īce Combat 4 - Shattered Skies: SLUS_201.52Īce Combat 5 - The Unsung War: SLUS_208.51Īce Combat Zero - The Belkan War: SLUS_213.46 <- my favourite btw, and there is a widescreen patch for it too until proved wrong that configs are "the official way" i suggest to use the config anyway, because if sony patched the game officially it should be for some reason, maybe the bug is not notable while playing a little but at some point matching with some game event there is an error (and the patch was made to fix it) Click to expand.Hehe nice, that configs for ace combat games are specific for each Title ID because are using netemu command 0x0B (this command is used to apply patches over the game iso), so using the config for ace combat 4 in 5 is not going to workīut there are a lot more configs for the other ace combat games and all them uses the same command (are applying an accurate patch for that disc) so im guessing all them should workĪctually, incase some of the ace combat games seems to works fine without config.
